Was your bathroom project a renovation or a creation?
It was a renovation project for my two bathrooms. I wanted to modify them and give them a new look and modernise them. I absolutely had to have custom-made creations so that I could adapt them perfectly to my rooms. I also discovered a soft and silky product that is really comfortable to use and adapts to the ambient temperature. Its ease of maintenance and its antibacterial aspect immediately appealed to me. I therefore opted for a sleek, designer washbasin top in Solid Surface, which will bring that modern look that was missing from my rooms. I wanted to create a bathroom with a minimalist and sober spirit. I wanted my room to be airy and not too cluttered with furniture, so installing a wall-mounted washbasin top proved to be the ideal choice for my space.
Did you contact an architect beforehand?
Yes, I preferred to contact an architect, because I needed the opinion and advice of a professional to help me with my project and to be able to tell me what was possible or not in these rooms. Indeed, the exchange between these two professionals, VASCOPLAN and my architect, made it much easier to understand my wishes and expectations as well as the technical aspects.
The choice of furniture
Why did you choose to install a free-standing basin rather than a built-in one?
I wanted to install freestanding basins rather than built-in basins, simply because of their aesthetic and design aspects. I didn't want a bathroom that was too "classic", the freestanding basins bring a sort of aestheticism and modernity to the room. In addition, besides the fact that I find it very beautiful, its functional aspect and practicality of use also played a role in my decision. The ease of maintenance of the Solid surface and its seamless appearance was an additional argument in my choice of basin. The round shape of the basins is original and a change from the usual models, so it reinforced my choice of the FAOIA basin model, and their installation is very simple.
Why did you choose Solid Surface?
I absolutely wanted my vanity tops to be made of Solid Surface, because I have had a lot of feedback on the many advantages that this material offers us. An ecological material, resistant to impacts and stains, antibacterial, easy to clean and so on, not to mention its extra white Krion® colour. The Solid surface is repairable, which means that the product can be used again after purchase. Although this material has a cost at the time of purchase, it is a purchase that quickly pays for itself over time due to its quality. Especially as the purchase of bathroom basins is not a handkerchief or entry-level purchase, it is therefore important for me to put a certain price on it if you want it to last a maximum of time.

What made you turn to VASCOPLAN?
The elements that made me choose VASCOPLAN were first of all the possibility of carrying out my project entirely to measure and turnkey. Not having any knowledge in this field, it was important for me to be able to be advised from the beginning to the end of my project in order to achieve a realization that met my expectations.
